A workshop participant feels the texture of a shell.

Creative Sensory

Creative Sensory is an art session where group members can work with a range of materials to create their own artworks, using colours, shapes, textiles and tactile fabrics that can be appreciated on a multi-sensory level.

Sessions are centered on what each individual participant can achieve alongside their Support Worker. The group experiments with many different mediums to awaken the senses and engage people including: painting, collage, pottery, papier mache, mosaics, large scale murals, felting and much more.

The sessions are very good for D's concentration and interpersonal skills development (and he seems to find it fun!). By helping in clearing up (washing up and putting chairs away) has improved his confidence and responsibility. He also enjoys taking things home to mum. Support Worker
The artists always ask what the individual would like to do and don't push to get an outcome. Always there to support staff to the best of our ability and always with a positive attitude. Support Worker
