Hands & Voices celebrate 20 years of musical magic and mayhem with a special cabaret show

Hands & Voices, our fabulous singing and signing choir, are celebrating a big birthday this year. They've been making music together for 20 fabulous years! They're going to celebrate in style on Saturday 2nd December, with a special cabaret show packed with original music, theatre, comedy and dance.

Funny, thought-provoking and poignant in turns, Cabaret of Dreams explores the choir members’ hopes and dreams for the future, whilst celebrating 20 years together as the UK’s first singing and signing choir.

As with all our shows, Cabaret of Dreams is an inclusive production, co-devised by members of the cast. If you've ever been to a Hands & Voices show, you'll know that they're really funny, delightfully random (you never know what’s coming next) and full of catchy numbers that’ll have you humming all the way home. Cabaret of Dreams will also feature beautiful original choreography, co-devised by Creative Humans and members of the cast. The show's going to be a joyful celebration of the fact that we can all achieve incredible things when we work, play and celebrate together. And we can't wait to show you what we've all been working on!

Our Creative Director, Rose, says: “20 years is a real landmark for Hands & Voices. And we reckon the best way to celebrate the big birthday is a show that shines a spotlight on the choir members’ diverse skills, talents and personalities. You can expect the trademark Hands & Voices humour and a generous sprinkling of that special Hands & Voices magic. Smiles and laughter are guaranteed!”

The production has been supported by Arts Council England lottery funding and by local financial services firm BGL Group.
