Leeds Building Society Foundation donate equipment to our AbleWeb York Programme
We wanted to share this lovely photo of our AbleWeb York group with their new iPads and Wifi Hub which were purchased using money donated to the group by Leeds Building Society Foundation.
Our AbleWeb York apprentices have been taking part in training learning how to use the iPads. The group have been using them to film and interview each other to find out what it is they enjoy about coming to AbleWeb and their community work. In our autumn term, the group are planning to use their iPads to add Vlogs (Video blogs) to their personal blogs, website and social media. The Wifi Hub will enable our AbleWeb apprentices to deliver their digital inclusion workshops at venues which don't have access to their own wifi.
A huge thank you to Leeds Building Society Foundation for the equipment it's going to make a huge difference to the group and to the work they can do in the future.
