IMPs Trainees headed to YIK’s SaturdayClub, and it was ‘Good, Good, Good’

On Saturday 10th June superstar IMPs Trainees Jess and Finn teamed up to deliver a fun, fab and interactive session to York Inspirational Kids (YIKsSaturday Club members. Experts in their fields, our trainees go everywhere from universities to schools to local businesses, where they co-lead workshops alongside AAM staff.

Jess and Finn were fab, as always, in leading the group through their favourite warm-up activities. Finn chose Joe and the Buttons, a silly song that gets the whole body moving. And Jess chose the Hand Shape warm-up, a perfect activity to introduce new people to the ways you shape your hands when signing.

IMPs trainees have a music jam with YIK's Saturday Club members

Confident and clear, they were great at giving instructions and talking the group through each activity. They even taught them the IMPs hit song ‘Good, Good, Good, which went down a storm. Then it was time for a jam – IMPs style! Everyone picked up their favourite instrument and jammed their way through the rest of the afternoon. It was so much fun!

We're super proud of our trainees and can’t wait to see what they get up to next.
