IMPs Holiday Clubs - Gamelan Storytelling

The IMPs (Inclusive Music Project) invite you to join us this October half term for our inclusive holiday club for disabled and non-disabled young people.

Gamelan comes from Java and uses tuned percussion along with poetry, stories and dance. In this session, we’ll use Gamelan to explore some spooky Halloween storytelling. With creative play activities like shadow puppetry and craft, we’ll cast our own musical story spell.

The workshop will take place on Wednesday 31st October from 10am - 2pm at York High School, Cornlands Road, York, YO24 3WZ and is suitable for all participants from the age of 5 to 25. The workshop costs £10 for the day but subsidised places and sibling discounts are available, please contact us to find out more.

Everyone taking part will need to bring a packed lunch and snacks and drinks for breaks.

To book your place, or to find out more, email: imps@aamedia.org.uk or call 01904 626965

**UPDATE - Tuesday 30th October - We've had some cancellations so now have some places available for tomorrow's workshop**
