A Night to Remember
On Thursday 13th April some of our fabulous Hands & Voices Choir will be performing at York Barbican as part of the A Night to Remember event.
The evening is the latest in a series of shows organised and curated by the amazing Big Ian. And it boasts a brilliant, inclusive line-up of musical talent, all coming together to raise dementia awareness in York.
The line-up includes: Chris Helme (ex-Seahorses), Jess Steel, Heather Findlay, These Jaded Streets, Boss Caine, Graham Hodge, Beth McCarthy, Kieran O'Malley, Hands & Voices Choir, Samantha Holden and heart-throb poster boy Las Vegas Ken.
The audience will be treated to music from the likes of Adele, Joe Cocker, James Taylor, Cher and Kylie Minogue.
Everybody taking part on the night is performing for free. And all proceeds from the evening will be split 50/50 between St.Leonards Hospice and some really exciting York-based projects that are enriching the lives of people living with dementia.
