AAM projects wow us at our Super Social Showcase!

On Saturday 2nd April our projects got together for a Super Social Showcase over at Tang Hall Explore, and it was ace!

Participants rocked up to perform in front of friends and family. It was fab to see what they’d been getting up to this term and there was plenty of talent on show!

We got a first look at what’s set to be another huge hit song for the IMPs. Written by IMPs superstar Dan, it’s all about what it’s like being part of IMPs. It was a proper bop and got the audience tapping their feet along to the beat.

Movers & Shakers were up next, and we were over the moon to see such a full stage. They got everyone grooving with some fabulous dancing before ending with their beautiful ‘Goodbye’ song. It was great to see audience members joining in. We were mesmerised!

Hands & Voices were last on the stage to round off a wonderful day of relaxed performances. Trainee Dan got the audience involved by teaching them the signs for ‘I Like the Flowers’. Once everyone was confident with the signs, we came together with the choir and sang the song in the round.

There were smiles all around, and we couldn’t be prouder of our participants. A massive thank you to everyone who took part, watched and volunteered on the day.

And a special thank you to Tang Hall Explore for providing a wonderful, welcoming space for our participants to perform in.
